Pros

Management gives their employees everything they need to help them be successful in the mortgage business. They do not micromanage their employees. Also, the office atmosphere is always welcoming. It's the type of place you lose track of time because the people are always great to be around. Everyone who works there understands we are a team and are always willing to help out their teammates.

Cons

I haven't had any negative experiences since I've been there. If someone has any type of problem it's because they didn't work hard enough to be the best.

Pros

I honestly enjoyed working here for the most part. The flexibility in working from home, snack cart every day, the company tries to bring the corporate team together and it shows.

Cons

It seems that the decisions are made mostly based on what the executives decide and not much else matters. Communication and transparency is basically non existent. They recently let go of several corporate employees in January 2019 after reassuring everyone in December 2018 that no one will lose their jobs. Tend to hire based on looks for the most part especially when it comes to female employees and has a bro culture from the top. No women on the executive team but the men at the top I believe mean well- perhaps some leadership coaching might do well for some. I wish I can say if you work hard it matters but it’s more about if you’re part of the core team that matters more. Hard working people were laid off due the bad market in January, but people from the core team who produce less remained.

Pros

The best thing about the company was the people you worked with. All of the people there are incredibly friendly and encouraging, and there's ample room for growth.

Cons

You will be making a ton of phone calls every night, so if you can get used to that and get used to being turned down a lot then you'll do just fine and make a ton of money.

Thank you for your feedback! Starting off as a Loan Originator in the Mortgage Industry can be rough, so we'll take your comments and implement a solution plan for our new Originators that join our company without previous experience. Thanks again and we wish you all the best!
