Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Worst Place on the Planet

Pros

No Kidding. Not just in St. Louis. The planet. Possibly the galaxy. Ask anyone who has worked there. Notice the past tense. WorkED. That's because most employees have either resigned out of fear of being fired without just cause or reason, or even explanation, or they have been fired already. Natoli has a 40%-50% employee turnover rate. Those are their own HR numbers. One higher managerial position had four people in its place in a 24-month period. Three were fired, one resigned. Many other managers have been fired after only 30 days, 60 days, 90 days. But the record is 5 days! After only five days a director of a major department was fired. The owner has never had another job his entire adult life (second generation) so he has no clue how to work with people or treat them. He manages by instilling fear in his employees. minions. A very small-minded and insecure approach to business management or interpersonal relationships. There is nothing funny, fun, exciting, interesting, rewarding, satisfying or fulfilling about this place. If your goal is to work in a emotionally stressful toxic work environment, full of petty cliques and small-minded backstabbers, and where the owner screams and swears at employees for no reason, screaming the "F" word in your face, along with every other foul word, then by all means, send in your app today. The owner is entirely unprofessional, arrogant and ignorant. Oh, yeah, under educated. He actually thinks the honorary PhD hanging on his wall, from an institution he has a business relationship with, is a real PhD. He talks derogatorily about employees, to their faces. Calls them names, makes fun of them and threatens their jobs. And this, all before lunch. He admits without blinking an eye to not having a business plan or a sales plan, and because of it, the place reeks of mismanagement and bumbling idiocy. It's an idiocracy (new word). The message here may sound humorous but it is dead serious and completely truthful. Look at other reviews. Save yourself lots of aggravation, time and self-respect and do NOT apply at Natoli.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!

Pros

None! Company is close to 94 and 40

Cons

The company is run by a bunch of inept brothers, who have NO CLUE what is going on in the world today! Pay their employees below minimum wage rate and expect them to work 55-60 hours a week and have no balance in life - ownership are all living in the 1950's, a time when our grandparents went to work "at the factory" and clocked in and clocked out and kept their mouth shut about everything! Owners believe that the workers should be grateful for being able to work there, however, the plant is not staffed enough to allow for normal 40 hours a week and people to get to go home and sleep. The company is located next to a hotel, which management says is a good thing cause then if there is a snow day or one has to work a long shift, they can just to next door to the hotel and sleep there and be able to make their shift the next morning - VERY WRONG ABOUT THIS WAY OF THINKING AND HOW YOU TREAT YOUR WORKFORCE!

Worst Job I ever had.

Pros

There are some really good people working here.

Cons

Work/life Balance, Compensation, Benefits, Vacation, etc. In a nut-shell working at this place will exhaust you. They expect you to put in overtime and will frown upon if you leave when your scheduled hours say you are suppose to or if you come in a few minutes late due to traffic. They pay below market value on all positions and you will practically have to beg for a pay increase if/when they do a performance review on you. They try to pull you in with 100% employer paid benefits that offer awful coverage, high deductibles, etc. You will not receive any vacation time until after you have worked 1 full year and chances are it will be less than a week of vacation. Management will micro-manage you to a T and will very rarely offer any appreciation or support. There is also very high turnover.
