Currently owned by Smuckers. Great company great ethics within Smuckers
Cons
Badly run mgmt Extremely bad DMs and middle mgmt DMs micromanage you Its a “do as I say not as I do” mentality Employees have a “cult like” mentality NB has major paranoia of corporate espionage Middle mgmt has mentality of middle school children. NB is one step away from being sent to supermarket levels DMs have antiquated views of how to manage Worst job I have ever taken

Pros
It is a positive Industry working with pets. Nice people to work with. Pretty low stress. Customers engaged are typically happy to be there. Solid quality product one can be proud to represent. Good reliable weekend job.
Cons
Pay needs to be higher. Not enough hours for many people to stay long term. Saturday & Sunday work days. No apparent job track upward.
