Pros

If you love politics but have chosen the IT or Software field, then you'll love working here as the only Pros of working here is Politics.

Cons

There are people who are getting all the promotions and bonuses and even extra bonuses because of being friends of the manager or being on the team of that friend. If you are in a team of the Manager's friends, you won't have a tight deadline and your mistakes will be covered, but if you are in the other team, you'll feel like the only person responsible to work in the company and you will be getting lot many statements if you've done one mistake. The Leader/Manager and the senior manager will take leave at the same time being in a higher position, but the employees in the lower position might not get leave saying there is no one to take/handle the responsibility of the work or there is no one to delegate. Apart from being burdened with a hell lot of work, you won't get any type of exposure to new technologies. You won't even get any sort of development work, the only work assigned to you will be high priority maintenance tickets no matter how junior or intern position you are on. You will be expected to deliver all the tasks at a very tight deadline even if you are fresher and just starting your career, by doing so you won't get any bandwidth to learn anything while working on tasks. You will hear the word Open Door Policy a lot, but it is not being followed. There are people who are being nourished but can't even complete one task without taking someone's help and are only good at overloading others with their work. In a time where everyone is being flexible, Navaera is still stuck in Micro managing where you'll get an email if you have left the company just 5 minutes early or have exceeded the lunchtime even if it was only for one day. However, this point excludes the Manager and Manager's friend, as they can come and go at any time. There isn't any rule for them. There are games placed in the cafeteria, but you won't get time to play or relax as you will be loaded with the work. Every junior person who is in their learning phase is overburdened with the maintenance task and the seniors are busy talking over the calls with their family and friends regarding vacation, birthday, and festival celebrations and being nourished by the employers at the same time. The people during the notice period are not given any respect no matter how much loyal to work they are even while serving the notice period.

Pros

Good Technology Stack but no development work, only support

Cons

Not a good company, 1 - No employee has any positive attitude towards work. 2 - Work culture is totally negative 3 - you will never get much development task every morning you will get bundle of support tasks, in short Navaera is a maintenance company, 4 - Highlights of work includes specification only shows UI, no business logic and ad-hoc discussions, project discuss on IM, buggy modules, source code missing, extreme context-switching, management confuse over priorities, last minute emergencies, late night work, 5 - In time if fixed but out time is not fixed, even lunch time is fixed, if you cross then you will be penalised. management is good to keep timings record 6 - Even employee left the company on time without pinging managers, he wouldn't bear this & conduct a meeting regarding this & will scold you for why he hasn't been informed 7 - Outdated and unprofessional infrastructure, look like an India government office 7 - Navaera is a school without uniform.

Pros

People at Navaera are generally extremely talented, intelligent and creative. I can't imagine learning more, or growing more than I did at Navaera at any other job. The mix of technologies and creative challenges was unique. After a job at Navaera, everything else will be boring, and seem like it moves like molasses. I also felt as though management did a lot to make sure that my experience enabled me to grow in my career. While I didn't get a lot of 'career' mentoring, I did get a lot of technical mentoring. Benefits are also fantastic, including free health care! Although many fringe benefits were lost during the recession. On the other hand, the company does allow you to work from home depending on your job, which is nice if you have kids. I was on the product side of Navaera (Navaera Sciences) and the culture on this side of the company is very different than on the consulting side (Navaera Consulting).

Cons

Navaera is generally not a 'socially' oriented organization. Meetings are generally taboo, and you will be assigned tasks that you are responsible to complete. While I was employed, Navaera did away with it's 'peer review' raises, as well as fringe benefits like NYC transportation, and a few other things, but I think these were just casualties of the recession.
