Pros
Due to the rate of employee turnover there are always available jobs.
Cons
This company promises to be the cutting edge of logistics with its fancy software that in truth is underdeveloped and falls far short of their vision. Management doesn't know which way the company is going, you'll be told changes are happening just to be told something different in a week. Upper management can't see and isn't interested in how to get from what they have now to what they want but expects you to get them there. Implementing any kind of change is nearly impossible and you'll get stopped mid-sentence if you try to install something that the branch manager didn't think up. Lower management micromanages employees then has to get everything explained, clearly doesn't know how to manage a team. You'll have extra work thrust upon you with zero compensation, this company doesn't give raises or so management has told me. Offers lower wages than competitors, no commission, and requires you sign a non-compete/non-recruit. PTO is extremely low starting out and sick days are nearly non-existent. You might think that asking for more PTO over a raise would be a good strategy but you'll get denied that too. Negotiating at the beginning of employment is likely your best bet but don't expect this company to honor what you negotiated. Clearly this company doesn't value employee retention. So if you like secret meeting, incompetent management, low wages and benefits, a lack of company direction, and be expected to work solely for the benefit of the company's software development then by all means apply. However, you'll soon realize that this is not just another day in logistics paradise.
