Could be great

Pros

Most of the people who work here are truly amazing, kind, hardworking, and supportive, and simply just great to work with. There can be opportunities for growth depending on your supervisor.

Cons

Pay is comically low for anyone below senior management, especially considering the stress of the job. The "busy season" hours (50-60+ hrs/week) once advertised as 3 months out of the year is now standard year-round. Consistently understaffed in all departments besides Sales, to the point where most employees experience extreme burnout and quit suddenly. Poor decision making by senior management addressing immediate problems or wants of select individuals, not lingering systemic issues or long-term needs. Overpromises and underdelivers on salary and work-life balance.

Cons

This company is so terrible but will go out of the way to get fake reviews posted. If u notice all the good reviews are mass posted on the same dates. This company does not care about its employees, it has HIGH TURNOVER for a reason

Pros

Coworkers were friendly. I met people that I still am friends with. Decent dental insurance You get to learn how to utilize COBRA so that you can use it after you leave and are better off.

Cons

Most people will get overworked when doing this job. They may claim to be interested in a work life balance when they hire you, but trust me, there is no balance. Navia will penalize anyone for being late, and likes to require you to do mandatory overtime. I worked 55 hours a week consistently, and thats not even talking about their busy season. during that period its more like 60-70 hours a week. You being payed more will always be in the distance, as the investors that control the company have stringent control on how much you get payed, and executives either use this to not pay you, or make it difficult for you to discuss your pay. You start to realize that executives, or any leadership within the company are just middlemen that answer to the investment company behind them. Health insurance is pretty bad, specifically for people with asthma. They exploit people through their desire to simply belong. They like to call this culture! They will reward you with gifts from ali baba! They will get you cheap food! They will never give you a raise though! All the executives are childhood friends. The nepotism here is something that they, and the investors behind the company like to call a family environment. A family where they benefit, and you don't every time. While they talk about things like "inclusion" or "diversity" while I was working there to make people feel nice, there was no BIPOC on their engineering team, and save for one childhood friend, there was a lack of diversity among the executives as well.

Thank you for your post. We are so sorry that this was your experience with our company. Losing anyone from our team hurts and hearing your struggles make this post particularly difficult to process. We understand that our COBRA department has been working exceptionally hard these past few months. The recently passed legislative policies in response to the pandemic have directly impacted our industry. We have had to redesign our processes to support the policy changes. Initially, we struggled with these adjustments, and this did result in increased workloads for our staff. We are sorry for the stress that this has caused you. Also, we apologize for any gifts/food we provided that came off as insincere. We were simply trying to provide some positivity in a particularly stressful time. In recent weeks, we have adjusted our processes and added more resources to support the new changes in policy and we hope to offer a more balanced approach moving forward. We know this does not change your experience, but perhaps it can provide some insights as to the reason behind the increased hours/stress during your time. We are sorry for your unfortunate experience working with us and wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor.
