Pros

Small college dedicated to the best interests of its students. Faculty and staff worked together and supported each other. Strong feelings of positive connection with co-workers and senior leadership.

Cons

Current administration has over worked and abused staff by refusing to replace workers who have left the institution. This has lead to more staff doing so. Morale of staff is at a low ebb. Questionable hiring decisions by senior staff have led to successive years of failing to meet enrollment targets, leading to budget and staff cuts. Currently not a place I would recommend to those seeking career opportunities in higher education.

Students are wonderful and adjuncting is a wonderful way to stay connected to the profession

Cons

Adjuncts are not respected. They are paid incredibly little and take on far too important a role in a student’s educational experience.
