Pros

Pet Friendly Set your own Schedule within reason. Middle Management and office personnel are good people. Company Vehicle (for use during business hours) Decent Health Care Kathy Neave

Cons

Work with outdated computers and programs. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING from Management. Verbal Promises that they do not follow through on. Beg and plead for pay raises. No annual employer reviews for pay raises. "We don't do training here, we are not a Fortune 500 company and will not supply it." Direct quote from Owner. If you do not have the right equipment, it will be up to you to purchase it and hopefully get reimbursed. 401K is minimal at best. "We are here to get what we can get, we don't owe our employees anything." Quote by co-owner

Pros

The pay is comparable however you will probably find a better job making more elsewhere like I did. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this company. It is bad news.

Cons

Office politics are rampant at this company. It is run by family members who are not on good terms with one another which creates a very very bad working environment. They tell you the positions are year round, this is not true, you will be let go with no warning once the season is over. Which is probably why the probationary period is 6 months which is double what other companies have. Benefits are horrible.

This is not true. The Neave family embraces family values and instills it into the corporate culture at Neave Group. The company has been around for over 40 years passing from father to son with both Bill and Kathy Neave still actively involved in the company. Neave Group is very transparent when hiring and makes no promises when hiring for seasonal positions but makes every attempt to keep hard working employees who excel in their position. It does not benefit the company to have a high turnover rate. Considerable effort is made to provide training where applicable to strengthen the quality of the workforce year over year. While most of the 6 month probationary period relates to eligibility for benefits, there is a safety component (among other things) involved for most positions. We need to make sure that individuals can comply with all safety procedures. We have a very strict policy around safety and procedures to ensure that all employees are safe and all equipment is properly handled and protected from damage. Benefits are on par or better than competing companies in this industry.

Pros

There are no pros to working at this company it is miserable.

Cons

The Company is a miserable place to work. You will be stressed beyond belief because they are too cheap to hire an adequate staff. The people in upper level management are not qualified to be there and do not know what they are doing. You do not get paid well, the salaries suck, there are no bonuses ever. If they promise commission they will come up with some excuse why you don't qualify for it when the time comes. Was there three years never got a raise and was given a $50 coupon for our Christmas "Bonus" that was from a barter agreement that Neave did services for and the coupons were the compensation in return.
