Not a cybersecurity company at all!

Pros

Well funded, but time is running out (and you can tell)!

Cons

A 100-person startup with no functioning cybersecurity products and a feeble attempt at a risk quantification tool. Harsh pre-employment testing is a requirement of the non-present Chairman, who also provides all funding. CEO is in the wrong role, President is nice, Marketing is capable, Sales has questionable ethics, S/W Dev. is out of Romania, and Customer Support is terribly mismanaged. Frankly, I'm not sure how they are still around.

I do love the Glassdoor model, but this is the downside of the 'anonymous' part. I feel the pain in this former employee's post. However, almost everything that is offered is false, and none of it is very helpful for those evaluating Nehemiah. We welcome any conversation from anyone interested in talking about these or other topics.

Changes With No Direction

Pros

The non-management employees are good people that care about each other. The staff works hard and follows direction, but are unfortunately being led by poor executive management.

Cons

No strong feeling of job security due to regular terminations and employees resigning, Constant changes by senior management without a solid direction or explanation to the staff. Seems like they are still trying to figure out what they want to do. Most employees are just praying that they make a good decision.

I am grateful for the chance to respond to two points in this post; 1) "regular terminations and employees resigning"...in our 3 years of existance, we have had 5 employees resign and recently conducted one small round of 'lean-sizing' terminations that effected fewer than 5 people. For a 100 person startup, this is in keeping with our goal of maintaining steady, controlled growth; and 2) "still trying to figure out what they want to do"...we are totally committed to our cyber risk analytics platform, RQ. With significant releases and upgrades coming out every 6 weeks, we are delighted to partner with our growing cadre of clients to help solve one of their biggest challenges--how to prioritize and address cyber risk across their business.

We do appreciate the shout out to marketing and sales--thank you! We have worked hard to assemble some of industries best problem solvers, and we enjoy working with security leaders every day. We are sorry that this former employee did not enjoy her experience. As a start-up, no doubt we have faced our cycles of high-intensity and uncertainty. We are proud to have built out a team of A+ players across the company, and recently released version 3 of our risk platform.
