There is no training for a very complex job. They make it sound like they love you literally and then put the screws to you if you are not like them. It is an all women office and there is so much conceit with the other 2 cpa's. The training I received that I calculated was a total of 8 hours in a 11-day period (that is not even 1 hour a day) there is many different applications that they work with that very few people know so less than 1 hour a day does not cut it. They knew I would need extensive training when they hired me (we spoke for over 2 hours on the interview and they hired me the same day), they failed miserably, there is no procedure to assist you it is just
"Don't you know how to do that YET" or I am not telling you - you figure it out on you own and if you get it wrong, we will come down on you with the boss (this is very childish on their part). They also have you read a book about your feelings and such and meet with what I would call a therapist (crazy yes) I spoke with the therapist one-one in confidence and complained about the training and she stated they like you - you will be great BUT she went directly to the boss and told her how I felt and you can guess what happened the next day of course at the end of the day. It felt like a cult working there. My entire career I have never ever work for a place this bad and will no better from now to make sure what the company stands for and how and who runs it. They are the worst period. DO NOT GO TO WORK FOR THEM if you know what is good for you.
