Everything the office tells you during interviews and training, is not even a fraction of what actually happens in the safe house. They sell this amazing organization that produces change and optimism. In reality, the people in the office are producing evidence of a lie in order to get funding. They pay substantially less than they’re able to and the administrators make substantially more than a nonprofit should make. All of the training is based on information prior to 2000. There have been substantial changes in the society since then and this organization chooses to ignore them.

I worked at Neopolitan for less than a year. There are truly too many cons to list. The women that run the organization are extremely mean to employees, calling people names like fat and stupid and talking about them behind their backs all the time. They don't like their authority to be questioned and they don't like employees to have their own opinions. They are not tech friendly at all and all paperwork must be printed out and completed on paper, even drafts of emails. You have to wait 6 months in order to get benefits. This is because there is such a high turnover rate. Working here was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. Do not apply, do not interview, do not accept an offer, even if it's the only one you get. You will be mistreated.
