Pros
For me, Nerd Block is a great place to work with great people and amazing culture. I feel like I'm growing with a growing company. There are a lot of opportunities for a self motivated person and I appreciate not being micro-managed. It's open door policy from the ground up to the CEO and very professional and at the same time laid back. Added bonus for this company is that it is in Whitby. As a person who has had to commute for years to Toronto or Markham, this is a great incentive and big cost savings.
Cons
It's very hard to find a con for us Office folks. It's unfortunate about some of the attitudes of the plant folks that I have read on here. I'm friends with many in the plant and I know that everyone doesn't share those views.
