The pay is excellent, and the benefits are even better. Long time employee here and couldn't be more satisfied with employee appreciation. Free meals on snow days to thank staff for staying. Sleeping quarters provided for inclement weather and pay compensation. Credit Union. Uniform allowance. Cafeteria onsite. Opportunity for upward mobility for motivated employees. Exceptional pension plan. The facility is beautiful, clean and deserves it's five star rating. Staff is friendly and cooperative IF you are showing them you are willing to work and to learn.
Cons
There could be some better communication between upper and middle management which consequently filters down to the other levels of care. A bit more consideration needs to be shown when asking for time off. At times it can be difficult.
