Pros

Very family like feeling. Easy to get help or advice on moving things along. Fun activities and meetings here are also fun. Very inclusive of all people and they truly mean it. Lisa never stops looking for ways to streamline processes. She and leadership team are always available to help. Offices are glass panels and usually opened. Lisa interrupted a Zoom meeting to quickly say hello to me, door open, meeting on! Happy hours, always food ( no one goes hungry in the Nest). Happy place to work at and Lisa is FUN and super creative. She never stops trying to make us happy and keep us working. Very innovative. This really is a caring company and an amazing leader. Nest came at a very bad time to lift me up and am eternally grateful to Lisa and the team.

Cons

It gets busy, Instructions on showings or access aren't always up to date but we can and should change them to help other Nesters. That's it.

A seriously toxic "family"

Pros

You'll get a great lesson in how not to run a business.

Cons

Nest has, unfortunately, met its ruin due to the negligence and vanity of leadership. What was once an inspiring culture built by employees who gave a damn, is now a rag-tag bunch of contract C-level execs bravely forecasting a profitable future despite having no idea how the client-facing part of the business operates. Nest is as toxic as it gets. If you happen to be one of the lucky few willing to sell your soul to gain the goodwill of the founder, it's probably because you've dissociated with reality and no longer care about the welfare of the employees who are actually doing the work. For all their grandstanding about “people over profit,” they do not live up to those values. It's one thing to work for a company that treats every employee as dispensable; it's crushing to be part of a company whose public persona is one of magnanimity - touting its culture as a differentiator all businesses should aspire to - when all of it is a lie. It's incredibly hard to get your work done, provide excellent service to clients, and maintain your sanity while working at Nest. You will not be trusted or trained, only overworked and pushed to your limits. Suffice it to say, this is not where anyone who values professionalism or mutual respect in the workplace will want to be. Don't be deceived.
