Pros

An enthusiastic and passionate team who genuinely believe in the mission.

Cons

- C-suite creates toxic work culture through micro-management, competition for resources, open slandering of employees, the questionable firing of employees, intentionally misguiding staff about turnover, lack of diversity, very little mentorship and trust in staff and unwritten rules that reward bad behavior. - The interview process was long and unorganzied. The CMO bad-mouthed other employees in the interview and other employees seemed confused about why they were interviewing me, some clearly had never seen my resume or knew anything about me before the meeting. - The flexible work schedule applies to favored employees and the CEO and COO leave for weeks at a time when other employees are chastised for requesting earned time off or working remotely. - Daily gossiping and backstabbing between upper management about each other and about other employees - Analysis-paralysis about everything. The obsession with powerpoint presentations, meetings, and cumbersome processes create unnecessary busy work and frustration

Pros

Not much to say, only there are people who join the company hoping to make a genuine positive impact in the world. Some employees have sincere motives.

Cons

When I left the organization I decided to leave and never look back. I do however feel that it is important to let people know what really goes on at Net Impact. There is an extremely high turn over rate which alone speaks to how poorly employees are treated. It is absolutely shocking how little some employees are being paid. Too many shady practices, some of which include unwarranted firings, and partnerships with sponsors that go directly against the organizations mission. Simply, Net Impact is a toxic environment. If you are passionate about non profit work and truly want to make a positive impact in the world, Net Impact is not the place for you. There is a very false picture that is painted about the organization and unfortunately me and other former employees had to learn the hard way.

Pros

Frankly, none. The equipment is outdated, and the people are backstabbing and toxic (this includes HR).

Cons

CEO aids, abets and rewards bad behavior. Workload is high, and management doesn't make an effort to understand. You're expected to smile like a dummy robot despite the insane amount of stress brought on by a lazy and power-crazy management. Everyone is constantly fighting for control over resources. Toxic workplace.
