      Incredibly poor leadership

      Some awesome team members and lunches paid for

      Cons

      Leadership was the primary issue. Many employees felt there was favoritism and a lack of objectivity in how people were treated and evaluated. This led to low morale and a workplace culture where people didn’t feel fully comfortable or supported.

      Lots of good coworkers / colleagues

      Cons

      Upper management and ownership is a mess. The decision making seems like ownership is just guessing, and upper management just goes with it. Employee moral is super low, people are fired or promoted with no real reason. Terrible business planning overall. Some of the best employees at the company have quit, other good employees were fired even though they were better employees than their peers.

      Pros

      Decent enough benefits, especially if you get HSA. Decent enough pay. Good snacks & drink options in office.

      Cons

      Benefit & pay discrimination. CEO & President egos. 4-day in-office mandate (randomly announced in an email from CEO on a Saturday afternoon). Laying off & firing frequently. CEO being ok with employee attrition & then having to hire a bunch of people again. A company full of white folk having a summer party on Juneteenth, which they did not acknowledge whatsoever. Announcing said summer party the same day they let go of 10 people - which is a lot for this company size. People are afraid to show up to work as their full selves because they don’t fit the typical mold of the founders’ views & beliefs (you’ll understand why quickly). Unlimited PTO has an “unspoken” limit of 20 days. This happened to multiple people. Morale is low - shocking, right?
