Pros

* Positive and collaborative work culture. * Generous time-off policy, including company-wide wellness days, 14 casual leaves, and other paid leave benefits. * Leave approvals were generally smooth and hassle-free. * Well-managed development process, with feature timelines estimated collaboratively by developers, resulting in minimal unnecessary work pressure. * Supportive, knowledgeable, and cooperative peers. * Strong remote-first work culture with flexible working arrangements. * Diverse and inclusive workforce.

Cons

* Your experience can vary a lot depending on your manager. I switched teams internally and experienced both ends of the spectrum—one manager trusted the team and gave us autonomy, while the other was laser-focused on AI and shipping features at maximum speed. * AI became the answer to almost every question. Whether it needed AI or not was sometimes a secondary consideration. * The company gradually shifted from building innovative products to ensuring everything had an AI angle. At times, it felt like adding “AI” to a roadmap item made it instantly more important. * Meetings often felt like an AI bingo game—AI strategy, AI features, AI adoption, AI productivity… you get the idea. * Everyone received a Claude subscription, which was great. The less great part was that usage started being tracked as a productivity signal, making it feel like your AI usage was being reviewed as closely as your code. * Multiple rounds of layoffs affected a large number of employees, creating uncertainty across the company. Around the same time, the company was significantly increasing its investment in AI, which led many employees to joke that the AI budget had to come from somewhere.
