Pros

Career development was the greatest pro Nettitude offered although the pay didn't match. But now expenses and training budgets are being frozen because we are feeling the pinch.

Cons

Lost its charm. Nettitude 4-5 years ago was a wonderful place, managers cared for their employees and even senior management did. It was a family culture, now it's way too corporate. Noone cares for how you feel, managers push agendas given to them by executive management without care of the employee. We are no longer a family, feels like individuals competing for positions. Very toxic culture. SOC, Pentesters, Sales, Red Team and PD used to work as a team. Used to talk as friends and really get to know each other. Now everyone just talks about business. Used to be one team, no longer that. Expenses and budgets being frozen, career development has stalled. Pay is not in line with the rest of the industry. They get you in (cheap), train you up which is fair enough but then you are not paid according to your skill level. It's based on who you know as opposed to what you know.

Pros

None. Nothing matters to them they just worry about their money. With so many departing, there are many ‘opportunities’ to work more of other roles.

Cons

It's a sweatshop with a horrible culture. There won't be any package hikes. You are not noticed unless you are extroverted and you won't get your complaints or feedback acknowledged.

A confused workplace and toxic culture

Pros

You get to work with quite a few technologies.

Cons

Nettitude use to have a soul and culture about the work place but now it is lead by a management team that works in a clique. The global head is consistently drumming his need for world domination like some btec Bond villain, whilst managing to decimate all culture that once was rife in Nettitude. If you work as an analyst you will get the opportunity to develop and grow but this is due to the Soc manager rather than anyone of the other management team. The lack of career path is disheartening as the option was to go into Soc consultancy but that is now run by someone who is more obsessed in convincing her team that she is the best manager they have had ( think Micheal Scott or David Brent from the office but not funny) rather than actually building a team. I kid you not I have heard this said across the office. It disheartening to see how the Soc consultants have been treated having seen 4 leave in the last year or so due to the toxic nature of that team. This leaves you to understand that all Nettitude can be is a stepping stone to gain experience and move on to something better as their technology is lacking and leadership is inept.
