Pros

Great location. Nothing else that I can think of.

Cons

A small family run business. They expect everyone to work as hard for their business as they do. Unrealistic! Anyone who they don't think commits themselves fully and completely to the financial success of the Heine empire will be cut-off at the knees and exterminated. They'll work you like a dog and then throw you out like trash.

Pros

Nice offices is the most I can compliment them on, which speaks to my real review and shows they’re only attractive as an employer on the outside.

Cons

Following a rigorous interview process (video-recorded responses, screenings, stakeholder and teammate interviews) with Netwealth, unfortunately, my experience was both shocking and disappointing due to underlying discrimination and unprofessional dynamics in the workplace. The final outcome following the laborious interview process was that my sexual orientation was subtly, but clearly, a point of bias and the key reason not to proceed. There was no mention of technical competency making it very apparent that the real issue lay with my personal identity based on the wording used. When I sought more specific feedback l, my inquiry went unanswered, which only confirmed my suspicions. This is especially shocking given HR did nothing to try to change the message and basically led with that, which is not what you expect to come from HR who are supposed to champion and manage those biases. Additionally, I noticed a lack of maturity to deal with workplace interpersonal dynamics, exacerbated by family members working unproductively in the company. The personal relationships were highlighted as a challenge that has gone ignored with the expectation the new hire would have to solve. Not every company will be the right fit for every individual, but the issues at Netwealth go beyond personal preference and speak to deeper systemic problems and are significant red flags for anyone seeking a fair, welcoming and equitable workplace.
