Pros

The professional experience you will gain working at Network Logic is invaluable, especially for someone who is a 'young professional' or just getting into the IT field. The work is centered around Windows Server environments and lots of Cisco networking from small offices to multisite retail chains. Many of the clients are law firms, medical providers (not hospitals), and retail with a little bit of private home work. Experience working in a corporate environment such as a law firm or doctor's office is wonderful, especially if you want to eventually move into that environment on a permanent basis (with another employer, not as a consultant as in your position at Network Logic.) You can certainly learn a lot about networking in a corporate environment and the owner is willing to work with you to get your certifications up to date.

Cons

There are numerous downsides to working for this small company. When I was employed there, health insurance was not even offered. Getting even a single day off was like pulling teeth, and even if you did get approved for the day off, you would get called numerous times. If you did not answer the phone (for whatever reason) on your days off or after-hours, you got berated the following day and lectured about "being available." The positions are salaried, meaning if you work over 40 hours (50+ per week without an actual lunch break is normal), you don't get compensated for it. Mileage reimbursements barely cover the cost of fuel, even in my small economy car, much less the cost of an oil change and tune-up when needed. When I worked for Network Logic, I was also expected to pay for parts (if we did not have them in stock or if I did not have them in my car, on-hand) with your own personal account to be reimbursed later. While this is not a problem for some people, it put severe strain on my personal finances because I had to pay for items to keep his business going. When your employment at Network Logic ends (and it inevitably will - either you will be fired/laid off for no reason or you will get fed up and leave), you will be promised a good reference, but you will not get it. I know of one person other than myself who was promised a good reference, but was given a horrible one. Because of that blatant lie, I was cheated out of a very promising career. You are also assumed to be wrong and will be fought against ferociously when you try to prove that you are correct. Even when cold, hard evidence is provided that you are, in fact, 100% correct, you will be told you are wrong and most likely punished in some fashion.

Horrible; they tear you down as a person.

Pros

Getting yelled at on the daily, having to deal with a raving lunatic who feels like he can express whatever he feels whenever he feels (such as rudely texting others to tell them off then blaming it on a co-worker instead of taking responsibility like the adult he pretends to be)

Cons

Dealing with the management, lack of organization, out of date records and stock. Lack of loyalty is another big one. No one feels loyal to the shop except for the owners because the turnaround is so high!

Pros

Network Logic is well managed, and they provide their employees with PTO which worked out great for me- The owners Collin and Christie Camp are extremely hard working , lead by example and create and believe in a Team first approach. They expect each employee to work hard as they should but in return provide bonus's, flexible PTO and have an open door policy to allow employees to communicate directly to them which many larger I.T. companies do not believe in. i would recommend working for this company.

Cons

Hours can be long at times due to the high demand of the I.T. field.. They have very loyal clients but they do require responsive I.T. services which i totally understand. However, the owner due provide PTO so it works out either way.
