Flexible but very unstable (many join and are let go within 2-12 months)

Flexible working hours and small international team (around 30 people)
Cons
Small team is great but pretty much at every all-hands meeting we hear of people who are leaving or were let go. So nobody is safe in this company. There is no HR, so nobody really cares much about people. Also no real career opportunities inside of the company.

Pros
People trust you and you get to work on challenging problems. I also like that managers encourage you to take time off.
Cons
Working in a startup can be volatile. It's not as stable as in a larger company. You may change direction and team members may be let go.
