There's little room for advancement, with no growth plan or upward trajectory for any position. The incompetence and insecurity at the director level ensures that no internal staff are truly ever promoted - your title may change, but the likelihood of moving up is slim. The CEO claims you can move up by creating a new position, which is an inspiring way of saying the organization is too lazy to develop positions or plans for long term employee development.
The Technology/systems are clunky. Nepotism is also an issue - if you're related to or are friends with the owners, you'll have a job forever- even if you have no idea how to do your job or have no experience. If you're in with the owners, you'll probably move up.
