      benefits. company paid events. competitive pay. great hours. work envirnment. The chance to work with people who sincerely care about their co-worker and quality of work they do. A Johnson.

      Pros

      During my employment there, HECO helped mold me to launch my own business. They care about education and help any employee who wishes to go further , even help finance it if they choose to have a career there. Many have risen to positions within the company , achieve goals they never would have. I learned so much and use many of these tools in my present business. A great experience and I am forever grateful. It is heartwarming to go to different events and see the sponsorships they do throughout the city. Best of luck to them in their future endeavors.

Our recent award from the Des Moines register, recognizing us a Top Work Place in Iowa, shows we are on the right path. We want true and honest feedback from all employees, both current and past. Open communication is the only way to solve problems, create change, and improve our relationships. We will continue to push forward. We are very proud we were able to help you get ready for your dream of owning your own business. Though we lost an incredible employee, Cedar Rapids gained one heck of a business.       Pros

      I've been working at Highway Equipment for 18 years and I have never even thought of moving on. Within the first two weeks I felt like I was a part of a family. This company is great to work for. I started out on the bottom and I have moved up over the years and feel like I have really accomplished something. This company is great at sharing the wealth in the form of good wages great bonuses, company activities, I could go on and on.

      Cons

      With any family we have issues but I feel I have resources at my disposal to help me with any problem we may have.
