Pros

I have been really enjoying my time at New Reflexions, moving from running my own business, this was the change I needed. The management and other team members are really supportive, making me fit right in. The company supplies all the training you need at no cost to you, and you have opportunities to learn all types of new skills. The work like balance is excellent, a good environment to work in and I look forward to progressing in the company.

Cons

Can be emotionally challenging but that is expected with the role, there is plenty of support from managers and team on offer to help cope.

Pros

Industry leading induction training course. Ongoing professional development courses. Support to achieve required SVQ qualification. Fully funded PVG and DBS checks and SSSC registration. Shift rotation of three days on and six off gives a good work / life balance for staff, (managers work Mon to Fri) Ability to work with some compassionate, commited, dedicated and amazing people to provide the best possible outcomes for young people. Staff support through regular supervision. Career progression.

Cons

Professional care work with young people, some of whom have experienced massive amounts of neglect trauma, CSE and CCE is often misunderstood. The work can, and at times, will be both physically and mentally demanding and involve very long hours on shift. This is not a job for the faint hearted, (this is explained to applicants at interview stage).
