      Orton Gillingham training every other year, nice students, small class sizes, fun events for students and families, focused on helping students, not test scores or bureaucracy, successful in teaching students learning strategies

      Certain senior staff members are rude to other staff members and get away with it; poor retention of staff

      Pros

      Research-based strategies used across the curriculum, and for social and emotional well-being. Excellent training for Orton Gillingham and other curricular areas and understanding mindfulness. Paid education for 2 years service. Administrators seek ways to alleviate teacher workload to promote a balanced work/life. Wonderful students make work life enjoyable. Lots of fun events.

      There is limited paid time off for employees, professional growth is somewhat limited for Education Specialist (in some ways)
