They usually paid us on time.

Cons

Very messy management. Did not commit to the region, kept changing the upper management and structure of the company and failed to establish goals and pay structures for our region. They gave a half-hearted effort to the global offices.

Omar Awny was my manager and I couldn't have asked a better mentor, coach or guide. He is a walking wikipedia in terms of how to manage your team and resources. Newforma is a great technology.

Cons

Making it a SaaS offering will do wonders in AEC space.

Pros

Newforma is a firstly a FUN company to be with. Don't get me wrong, we do work hard, but we also play hard and there is a great sense of camaraderie. There is a great sense of community, with everyone working to help each other as much as possible. People are encouraged to think outside of the box and to try new things. New ideas are greatly encouraged and failing in attempting something new is better than doing nothing at all. "Get out of your comfort zone, your "job" is what you make it", roles are quite fluid allowing people to experiment in areas they are either curious or passionate about and everyday is a new adventure! Newforma is also the most politics-free company I've ever worked for and that's very important for me.

Cons

We had a Greek guy called "Con" contracting for us, but he left.
