You get to work remotely as much as you want.

Cons

The quote above is a true one that I shared with a friend. Even the smallest contribution is manhandled by several layers of arrogant and sloppy editorial review. In short, get used to writing for your senior editors and the CEOs, not for its intended audience, if you want to be a valued employee.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to write, and you're working on the front lines of the fight against misinformation. Hybrid remote work--you can work from home or come into the office in Manhattan up to three days a week--means nice flexibility.

Cons

They are very strict about tweeting anything that could be perceived as political or partisan, which can be limiting. Also it's mostly virtual/remote work so it can take time to get to know people on the team unless you make an effort.
