Pros

- Met some of the most coolest people. - Good learning curve (If you want to learn all by yourself) - Awesome office location (Factory)

Cons

- Most people do nothing. - Some departments (sometimes people) should not exist, they just hinder progress - No direction, no goals/aims - Portfolio of companies is more or less useless, some of them don't even have a minimum viable product, yet they are shown as world changing technologies - If you can master the philosophy 'Look busy, do nothing' - you can be with them for the rest of your life probably. - I could go on...but I have a job to do, a real job.

Great place to work

Pros

I really like the athmosphere, the concept (building the next big thing in IoT, with the ventures in one building), the colleagues and the puppies. Laid back style of working. Interesting tasks and lots of freedom. Flat hierarchies. Appears that NBT is well funded (great office, drinks, computers, adjustable tables, fair payment).

Cons

VERY early stage VC. Open office can be distracting (the puppies!), headphones help. You need be be very organized and self motivated, as no one tells you what to do. Multitasking is expected. Need to function in a low-guidance environment.

Pros

You meet some great people and learn a few things

Cons

First of all, be aware that the percentage you get in the beginning, which is already not high, will be further diluted through investments. In the end you have, in my opinion, close to nothing left. Second: Everything can change quickly without any explanation. Your project, your manager, people leave, people get promoted after 2 months etc. etc. And it is all very badly communicated, sometimes without any justification or via chat-tools instead of personally. I would be very careful leaving your job for this. For me it was totally not worth it.
