Pros

The physicians and providers are good providers. They are dedicated to their patients and to providing good care. The staff are good and desire to do well.

Cons

Run by numbers and operations that do not listen to the physician and providers. Operations have more control than the physicians and providers or medical directors. This is a backward approach to health care.

Pros

The only positives were my co-workers (when I still had co-workers they have 1 employee left at the clinic I was working at) and that they provide you with a clinic to work at where I was able to provide care to those in need which is what I was born to do.

Cons

Everything since the new CEO came to rule. The new CEO took over....costs were cut at the expense of the employees who make the company money. NEW and unnecessary upper management jobs were created and given to a group of incompetent people who have are not held accountable for anything. As far as I can see the AOM's are given free reign to treat lower level employees with complete disrespect. No one from upper management has any sort of balance and checks to make sure their is no corruption in the way employees are treated. Staff are overworked, underpaid and extremely unappreciated on a regular basis with the only form of upper management contact being to speak of new ways that the employees benefits will be cut and/or to add more responsibilities to your already overwhelming work load. Do not ever expect any words of encouragement or appreciation from the CEO the AOMs or the higher up HR employees, these people are above you and don't have time for your petty problems. They are all buddies up top and have job titles solely to justify getting paid. None of them actually preform functions or respond to issues the way their job titles would imply they should. ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY ARE MOST LIKELY THE ONES THE AOM TELLS CLINIC MANAGERS TO WRITE TO MAKE THE OVERALL RATING OF NEXTCARE APPEAR BETTER (obviously they can't keep up with the massive amount of reviews given by actual employees who are leaving this horrible company)

Pros

Work closely with physicians and a great nursing staff. Schedule is three 12 hour shifts per week. The schedule is the only thing keeping me there.

Cons

Where do I begin...Pay is at bottom of the barrel for my profession. I am an RT and I am being forced to learn IM injections and phlebotomy well out of my scope of practice. The staffing is a joke, at some of the lower volume clinics we will have 1 physician and 1 clinical staff member to handle on average 30-40+ walk in patients in a 12 hour day. Keep in mind that one clinical member is an xray tech with about an hour long training in how to give shots and draw blood. Not an RN. (They cost too much). No lunch breaks is a common theme in any busy clinical setting so you just get used to not eating. The bottom line is its all about the bottom line with this company. Sacrificing all else including patient care to increase profits...and they drill into all staff patient satisfaction surveys scores. If you have ever worked for a company that does this it is incredibly frustrating. I would look elsewhere for employment, especially if your a rad tech.
