Pros

Good cafe. Decent food and subsidized green arrow meals daily at $3.15 Playful environment with athletics and soccer field. Used to make great video games.

Cons

Japanese company, all decisions made by NCL. No room for growth. Company slow to respond to ideas and trends. NOA can easily be compared to both Xeroz and Kodak. Management is good old boys network and have to kiss up to get promoted or know Japanese. Slow to accept new ideas or try new techniques. Pay is low and work encourages employees to try and do more with less resources. Soon I just do less with less resources. Not tech savvy company and they are behind curve in innovation. (project galaxy?? ) Star system Associate employees are treated as Permatemps. (some associates have been w/company over 7+ years and not offered full time jobs) Stock/profit sharing only for management and above. Don't promote from within.

Pros

Excellent Benefits, Work Life Balance, bonuses

Cons

Lack of promoting from within, lack of transparency, discriminatory pay & bonuses, blatant favoritism, ageism, cronyism is rapant. You will never get full bonus or large increase in pay unless you are a top performer. They imply that you will - but trust me, you won't.

Pros

All employees are brilliant and serious hard workers. You can enjoy working with them and get stimulated by them. You can work hard as you like except crunch time. If you want to go to home for your private life, you can go home at 5:30. If you want to work hard, you can work until 10 p.m. That depends on you. But most employees work till late for their responsibilities. Allowance for overtime work are all paid. There is no layoffs and If you fail in the business, you are not fired or moved to another department. Lifetime employment is assured.

Cons

No flexible-hours. No job training. You have to consider your career yourself and train yourself on your own.
