The admins treat their staff poorly. It’s either do what we say or leave. They pile on too many responsibilities if they’re short staff members and do not compensate. They are in it for the $$ and do not care if you stay or leave. There is no teacher rights. They pulled us all in a room one day and said “either you tell me why you want to stay or don’t come back tomorrow”.
Not many pros here...
Students were kind and parents were very supportive of teachers
Cons
Management cared a TON about testing. Hopefully you're ready to fit the mold of their perfect teacher. Meetings every day. No planning time. Buses a disaster. Superintendents use fear tactics and intimidation often.
