Worst experience of my career

Pros

I literally can't think of any

Cons

This company is a complete circus, mainly due to the "CEO" Jadon Newman. He is, for the most part, clueless. He doesn't read any reports that he asks for, then gets furious at everyone because he doesn't know what is happening and blames the employees for his ignorance. There is no clear leadership or direction in this company. The company is always in financial trouble, having to seek out resources monthly just to cover payroll and expenses. Empty promises are rampant. There is a huge disconnect between the management team and the employees, as well as between the "executives" and the management team. The CEO constantly quotes his "core values" yet never once actually exercises them. Customers are lied to constantly and a huge portion of them are regularly upset and angry as a result.

Untrustworthy

Pros

Compensation and benefits were fair. Handful of employees seem to care about the integrity of the company and do their best. I was told the Founder/CEO understands there is a culture issue. I am naming this in the pros column, because the first step is recognizing there is an issue.

Cons

Untrustworthy leaders. They state they believe in a work life balance, yet want you always "on". I was told a lot of Glassdoor reviews were from employees of an acquired company that were disgruntled. Once I was on board I witnessed a lot of the cons that were discussed on these Glassdoor reviews. Very reactive environment, instead of proactive. Lack of honesty and transparency. Even newer leadership has adopted or at least perpetuated a toxic work environment. Newer leadership, in my opinion, wanted to be recognized as a "savior" from the "manic" Founder/CEO. Acting as though they were taking the beatings to keep the team safe. How does this promote a healthy work environment? Constantly felt as though there was a target on my back and witnessed others with them too. Mixed messages on goals, and objectives. Leadership would create issues that didn't even exist and would take no accountability when they were in the wrong. Leadership would spoon feed individuals what they needed to say to management in order to not upset the Founder/CEO. A lot of games being played with favoritism. Zero diversity, "good ol boys club" all the way. Leadership I worked with was extremely passive aggressive, acting as though you had autonomy but in reality you had none. Empty promises were the norm, which once again does not create a culture of trust. This by far was one of the worst work environments I've experienced in my 20+ year career. I have a habit of thinking I can make a difference or ignoring some really serious red flags. I wish I would have listened to my gut. Please do your due diligence. All companies under the Nobel Capital umbrella are in the same boat with this behavior.

Owner's Nepotism Became Hindrance to Company Growth and Employee Advancement

Pros

The company did offer a reasonable salary. It helped me feel somewhat compensated for the challenges I encountered in my role.

Cons

Though the company boasts a strong reputation in the industry, it falls short when it comes to addressing issues of nepotism within its ranks. The perception of favoritism towards individuals connected to the owner can undermine morale and hinder opportunities for talented professionals. Furthermore, the workload can be back-breaking, with employees often overwhelmed by excessive demands and limited resources. These aspects hinder the company's potential for growth and may impede the fair merit-based advancement of its employees.
