Smoke, mirrors and buzzwords!

Pros

Having pets at the office is great. The office space is trendy and comfortable. If you are lucky to work in one of the cool accounts, you will work on challenging and interesting projects. If not, prepare for soul-grinding meaningless work. Some great perks and benefits. Coworkers are lovely.

Cons

Upper management does not actively study, research nor dominate the media, marketing, technology nor encompassing landscapes. The executions are smoke and mirrors with a dash of outdated practical experience. The company was sold to an awkward macho man posse of self-proclaimed risk-takers and know-it-alls, with one or two exceptions. The condescending attitudes are laughable. Just have a meaningful conversation with each and easily validate this, don't take my word for it. The lower management and regular employees have to pick up the tab for the lack of insights, and will not be rewarded or valued accordingly. They value talent as much as they valued the free snacks, lunch and breakfast perks (they are gone). Yes, they can produce some pretty graphic design, cool videos, and some clever ideas, but that's it. It all lands flat in the ROI. Notice that the significant case studies are from the previous management, and probably old. There's no technical or engineering power in the company after they fired their award-winning technology team in its entirety. Account "Planning" meetings are very tedious and there's a constant pressure of "where's the money". Sell, sell, sell! Salaries are non-competitive unless you are mid to upper management. Employee turnaround is extremely high. Speaks for itself. The open space office space can be uncomfortable. Upper management is always watching!

Good for interns

Pros

The new office is located in a great area, co-workers are nice and professionals. This is a good opportunity for interns and to build resume for no more than 2 years.

Cons

Since the company was sold to rude, aggressive, and disrespectful persons. The new management turned into the same vision, they don't care about people they just care about selling... Because of that vision, you have to demonstrate how good you are following their ideas and avoid to show yours/make opinions if you want to keep your job. The CEO try to be nice and open to ideas but at the end is his opinion that matters. I believe is important to have an HR person, someone who we can talk(confidential), someone who can show interest in us as an employee.

Pros

The community is great, your direct bosses are understanding and helpful and everyone is really chill, you'll make some pretty good friends. There's a real sense of camaraderie and everyone is willing to help others out.

Cons

Extreme workloads, no workload management, everyone is burnt out, management expects more than possible from teams, severe under staffing issues, management is out of touch and does not care about what their teams need.
