    I worked at Nordstrom part-time

    Pros

Through Nordstrom's extensive training, I learned valuable customer service skills that have helped me excel in multiple positions in my career. The dedication they give each employee is outstanding.

    Cons

I encountered some pushy sales associates who would take credit for some of my sales. Other than a select few, the team is incredible and supportive.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Nordstrom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great company, run by a dedicated family who cares about employees.
    - Great culture

    Cons

    - Recent influx of former employees from a large tech company in the area to ecommerce is threatening to destroy everything Nordstrom. Destroying everything that made it special, makes it feel just like Amazon, Microsoft, Expedia culture now

    Advice to Management

Employees reflect the attitude of the company, treating them poorly will show through to the customers.
