    I worked at Nordstrom part-time

    Pros

Through Nordstrom's extensive training, I learned valuable customer service skills that have helped me excel in multiple positions in my career. The dedication they give each employee is outstanding.

    Cons

I encountered some pushy sales associates who would take credit for some of my sales. Other than a select few, the team is incredible and supportive.

    I worked at Nordstrom full-time

    Pros

    * Can earn six figures (depending on the department and your personal book of clients) * Upbeat atmosphere * Don't need to leave work for lunch * Employee discount * Company values * Surrounded with top of the line merchandise * Managers want to help you make more money

    Cons

    * Most people do not earn six figures (To earn six figures, you need to treat it as a career and not a job.) * If you are not upbeat, you will stand out * Your expenditure on fashionable clothing increases * Your work schedule is never consistent * Managers will give you tasks to do even if there are no customers

    I worked at Nordstrom full-time

    Pros

-paid holidays -good healthcare and other benefits -paid time off -opportunities to move between departments and grow in the company -good monitoring for COVID and good COVID protocols

    Cons

-HR is unreachable, and the online platform (workday) is a nightmare to navigate -fully online HR -pay raise schedule has changed post-covid so less opportunities for compensation to change -Nordstrom employees are the rudest customers
