As stated in previous reviews the company was sold to an outside investment group that had nothing to do previously with brewing. Whatever core values the company may have once had were flushed down the toilet in favor of a quick ROI for the investors. The quality of the product took a nose dive as many home brewing industry standards were replaced with cheaply sourced knock offs. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who has worked there for more than a year or two as the turnover rate is laughable.

Bought by an investment company, Northern Brewer lost it's way. I had 5 different bosses in 1 year and they lost another one right as I left. When I started, everyone who worked there would tell you they loved their job. Now they will all tell you where and how they are searching for a new one. The upper management is ran with a very "old-school" dictator like approach that makes it very difficult to make real progress through continuous improvement. There is no room to grow for management as they only hire from the outside and never promoted from within at the management level while I was with the company.
