Pros

Uncapped commissions and no territories, you can sell to anyone that is not sold or being worked. First place I've worked with multiple incoming sales leads given weekly. Support staff does all the heavy lifting for collecting money and ad approval. All I had to do is sell ads. Many warm leads created through winner lists given to the sales team. Commissions don't change when resigning clients, true book of business sales. The magazine has a huge voice in the community.

Cons

Its a lot of calling, but that's sales.

Pros

Friendly office workers and hopeful opportunity.

Cons

No training when promised an eight month program. Second day sit down and start calling. Instead of helping there is favoritism.

High Hopes with Huge Disappointment

Pros

Nice coworkers, fun product to sell. Office space allows for a natural well lighted work space.

Cons

I was so excited and hopeful to start this job. I was fooled by the bag of goods I was sold resulting in sad disappointment. I was hopeful things had improved from the reviews I read on glass door, I was fooled. If you are an experienced professional or a nice person who treats other people the way you would like to be treated .... you might want to be cautious. Steer clear of this place if you are collaborative, are eager to succeed, and are a self-starter who enjoys a pleasant work environment. This is a great place to work if you want to be denigrated and scolded for asking questions on day 1 or 2 of job, talking with co-workers, or simply trying to navigate in a new work environment with little or no training, no personal laptops and no time to learn during work hours etc. I was reluctant to accept this job based on the other reviews here, but took a chance because I really trusted the interview process and people I interviewed with. Next time I will trust my intuition.
