Northfield is one of the worst places I’ve ever worked.
- They do not value internal candidates, you apply for internal positions and always get a “no” as answer. The same happened to some of my coworkers, they tried applying for open job positions and the answer is always no.
- There’s no room for growth, they always hire from outside and don’t give internal candidates an opportunity.
- The maternity leave is terrible, they don’t even have a policy in place for maternity leave. If you are a woman who is planning on having children, this is not the place for you.
- It’s a very sexist place, there’s a lot of mansplaining and gaslighting.
- No bonus structure and no career plan, at the end of the year they buy pizza, hire a photobooth and say “thank you for your hard work”.
- They do not value their employees. In an attempt to look cool they plan these silly office parties / contests and it’s embarrassing to say the least.
- Management is a joke. A lot of unprepared people in high positions, and when you complain to HR they brush it off.
- Toxic work environment, if you complain about something they retaliate.
- The culture is VERY old fashion, they are not welcoming of suggestions.
- The computers and softwares used are very old and outdated.
- They don’t offer training even when you ask for it.
If you can avoid working here, you should.
