      Interesting work but dysfunctional management

      Pros

      The work is stimulating and the pace isn't crazy. Salary and benefits are fair for the amount of work that gets done. Easy access to the office from BART and good restaurants around the office. Easy to telecommute when needed.

      Cons

      Dysfunctional management that are unable to delegate responsibility and have no sensitivity to the feelings of others. Many people here hate each other and are too scared to say anything about it. It's a very stressful environment. I'm happy any time I get a chance to work in the field just to get out of the office.

      Pros

      Northgate really takes care of its people with a generous salary and a supportive work environment. There are fun perks like outings and picnics, and management is understanding when life happens. I also appreciate being surrounded by smart, respectful coworkers who make the job enjoyable.

      Cons

      If I had to pick a downside, I’d say some processes can feel a little slow but management is actively upgrading systems to improve efficiency.

      Great Small Company to work for

      Pros

      I have been working for this company for over 20 years as full time and continue to work currently as part-time. It's been great, I was given the chance to study and improve my position and create a new career within the company over the years. I had flexible hours and option to work remotely when possible. Great benefits. Good salaries and bonuses.

      Cons

      Stressful job that comes with more responsibilities as it is in every single job but at the end it is rewarding.
