Pros

As a former junior level employee. I was initially paired with incredibly talented senior level employees who mentored me. This was very valuable. The benefits were good, including a great bonus structure. Company wasn't afraid to spend money to have the right equipment. When we were getting projects, they were great projects.

Cons

There was such a massive disconnect between senior management and lower management/technical staff. Upper management would imply they were going to take steps to resolve it, but then do nothing. There exists a strong "in" group and "out" group culture. Not much room for advancement if you are not part of the "in" group. The share purchase program is deceptive, at best. American and Canadian offices view each other as competitors rather than additional resources.

Poorly Managed

Pros

Intelligent professionals to work with on interesting projects. Opportunities to learn and expand skill set. Good bonuses in profitable years.

Cons

Top-heavy management, with high-salaried executives collecting large bonuses but doing very little to get new clients or projects. Toxic culture of fear and intimidation since 2011, with no sign of change on the horizon. Recent lawsuit by former employees. Layoffs every 3-6 months in professional ranks, with no eye towards retaining valuable staff members. I would strongly advise against professionals seeking work here.

Pros

When there were bonuses and pay increases, they were very generous. The local office was a very good place to work prior to changes in 2011.

Cons

Major disconnect between the office cultures and almost felt that there was a competition to keep projects and not share the workload with others within the company. No pay raises for over two years unless they "promoted" you which seemed to be strictly favoritism.
