Poor Management, Politics and Quiet Layoffs

Nice Office Can't think of anythng else.
Cons
Technical: They are using old tools and software and do not want to upgrade and restrict innovative mindset and would want you to work with their oldest, slowest lab equipment, tools and expect highest level of efficiency. Management: The chief engineers, managers are highly narcists and egoistic and are just pleasing the parent company. Whenever, bonuses are to be announced they quietly start laying off employees to show reduction in expenses and increase their own bonuses. No Salary increase until you beg them. Too much politics and and no scope of growth. Intermediate managers are just puppets of senior managers and it is just running as a family business. In short, people are working just to save themselves from getting fired randomly. You need to bootlick to get promoted or get a raise. If you are a kind of person who focuses just on work and do not chit-chat in lunch room and get involved with senior management in politics, it will be difficult for you to grow here or maybe stay here for long. Every 6 months they are doing layoffs.
