I don't think giving LESS than one star is an option...

Pros

*If you are lucky enough to go on the Company trip, you might get some beach time before you are sexually harassed.

Cons

As an effort to save time for all you readers, I'll make this as short as possible: 1.Constant Sexual Harassment at management levels and the managers doing it are protected by even the CEO himself...he knows, he chooses to disregard or ignore complaints, and he designs the cover up of borderline criminal activities. Human resources people who could possibly make all that stop are told routinely to forget conversations, do not investigate, and pretend issues were never brought to their attention. 2. Office relationships between bosses and employees that work under them are not only welcome, its encouraged. It is a commonly understood by Sr Mgmt all the way up to the CEO that "if girls have someone to impress, they will fix themselves up more and look better". 3. Employees are asked monthly and quarterly to rebut bad reviews left on Glassdoor. Management wants at least four positive reviews submitted for every negative one received. Employees "take turns" writing reviews to keep the boss happy. Your job is on the line if you don't want to. 4. Women who are not interested in pursuing relationships with certain male mgmt employees are talked about to other employees and called names and publicly ridiculed in front of their coworkers. To turn down an advance from a male staff member is to basically quit your job on the spot. 5. Inappropriate and intimate pictures are circulated via phones and emails and openly laughed about during water cooler discussions. These would be inappropriate pictures of current employees that have not been in a position to fend off the unwanted advances of senior managers. 6. Women are not paid on an equal level with the male employees, despite having more responsibilities and harder job descriptions. Gender pay inequality is real at Novacopy folks...these reviews don't lie. 7. If you voice concern or resistance to anything that may seem unethical, you are fired immediately, and without reason. 8. Managers think its funny to unzip skirts of female subordinates and laugh when their skirt hits the ground...because that is totally appropriate. Said no one ever. I personally saw this one myself and was horrified when the men standing around the young lady involved all laughed as if they were all in middle school again. I could list more, but its easier to sum it up this way...one review might lie, two might be disgruntled employees with an axe to grind...but three, four, TEN? That's a pattern. Every word on the negative reviews you have read is true. There is proof its all true and it is resulting on not one, not two, not THREE, but FOUR current lawsuits. There are reviews that have been left that want people to believe differently, because Novacopy tries to keep their professional reputation as good as possible. These people are forced to write those reviews, no matter how many times they say they aren't. It's just part of the norm. The majority of the folks that work there are good people who are afraid to speak up and out. Since the firings and turnover have become so much more common and happening to good people...employees know even the best of them are never really safe. There is a problem that exists there that will one day make headlines...because it is being ignored, and covered up at the highest level, and it's getting to be uncontrollable. It seems like every day a new complaint about the sexual harassment issue comes in...it's very sad. And scary.

Pros

Some of the people I worked with are the nicest people I've met. The Christmas party was a lot of fun as well!

Cons

This company only cares about the bottom line. They baby sit you to make sure you are sorting at your desk on the phone constantly. If I wanted to Tele-sale I could have done that from home.

Pros

About the only pro I can think of currently is that with the MASSIVE amount of turnover over the last two years, some innocent and hard working people have escaped from this place with their careers intact.

Cons

Well....there has been a lot said over the last couple of years about some of the issues plaguing this company. I could add a lot of detail, to both affirm and solidify most of those statements. I won't do that unless asked. What I will do is list what I personally have witnessed and experienced since I joined this company. 1. Levels of discrimination/harassment/sexism/nepotism/assault/and or inappropriate behavior that would make a politician hide their face in shame. Some examples - (a.) consensual sexual relationships with subordinate reports, denied of course to Dept of Labor and EEOC investigators, but perpetrators of these situations posting proof on their social media pages (dumb). (b.) prescription drug abuse at the HIGHEST levels of leadership -opioid abuse, and levels of drug abuse and impairment that would make someone unsafe to even drive to work on a daily basis. (c.) comments, ridicule, and outright bullying of anyone that isn't white, male, under 45, straight, and minimally educated. Yes, you read that correctly. The people with the least amount of education/qualification are the ones harassing and bullying the smart kids - kind of reminiscent of high school. (d.) Actual assault and battery on the glorified work trip to an exotic location that can only be described in this review as "perverse". When married couples are followed back to their rooms for continued "extracurricular" activity, unsolicited and unwanted, there is no boundary these people won't or haven't crossed. (e.) When accusations are made in a court of law or a lawsuit is filed, senior leadership will come in and literally interrogate the staff as to who said what, to whom, and will try to intimidate every single employee into signing or writing statements that support their version of things, regardless of the truth. The Dept of Labor doesn't actually come in to a workplace with investigators unless there is overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing and a clear suspicion that the employer will lie, destroy records, suppress witnesses to illegal acts, or otherwise obstruct a lawful investigation. Novacopy (Novatech) has had several such investigations, and more are coming. NLRB, EEOC, DOJ, DOL - they all have found against Novacopy for their horrible treatment of employees. There are multiple lawsuits - both settled and ongoing litigation that spell large liability for Novacopy. The reviews that you read that immediately have four or five rebuttals? They aren't untrue...they are spot on. This place is a seething cesspool of lies. Senior Leadership up to the highest level is involved up to their eyebrows...and they will lie, cheat and try to squash any comment that comes out against their little "family". Having a great working environment is important...and trusting those you work with and for is so incredibly valuable and needed. We spend more time at work than we do with our families...but don't do that here. You will never make a worse decision. Money is not everything. Save yourself the ulcer, and find a job that doesn't abuse and mistreat their employees for financial gain. If you are a "producer", you can do no wrong. One sales manager has so many complaints of sexual harassment against him that its possible it might be some kind of record. He is sometimes admonished, and sometimes its just ignored. Sometimes HR is told to "make it go away" or "turn a blind eye". This man has willfully abused his leveraged position over so many subordinate female employees he should be considered a predator at this point. He is never removed from work, he is never disciplined...because he is a big buddy to some higher ups in Senior Leadership and he makes the company money. Its sad, really....talk about #metoo...Novacopy could host it own #metoo Awards. The bottom line - if you hear something once...its probably not the whole story. If you hear it twice, maybe you should listen closely. When you hear something over and over and over again...it's not an isolated incident. They can claim it is, but it's not. I'm sure within 24 hours, there will be five reviews to offset this one. There always are anytime a bad review of Novacopy comes out. Its very predictable. Yes, employees are threatened into writing rebuttal articles...they are sometimes paid to do so, and I can even tell you how much they are paid. Its listed as "bonus" on their paycheck. I personally know of a colleague that was terrified to tell her boss at Novacopy she was pregnant...because she had been told on multiple occasions that pregnancy was a career killer and women had to choose between having a successful career and having a family. She miscarried...but was questioned repeatedly on if she was pregnant and had to deny to her boss to keep her job. Disgusting. There are lots of places to work...don't waste your talent here. It will be appreciated so much more somewhere else.
