Pros

First off There are great people at this company but you have the find them!! The company owner is AMAZING - you will definitely feel welcomed! However, depending on what dept you work in and who your manager is will depend on your happiness at this company! When I first began working here I LOVED MY JOB! LOVED IT!! However, that supervisor left, and from that point everything went downhill.

Cons

No matter how well you do at this company… YOU WILL BE OVERLOOKED! You will almost NEVER be promoted and have to beg for a raise - that you barely get! One day they love you - the next day they don’t …no matter how much you’re gaslighted do not believe the hype! ALOT OF MANUAL WORK AND NO GOOD TRAINING FOR YOUR ROLE!! You need to have critical thinking to find your own way through!! KEEP A DOCUMENTED PAPER TRAIL OF ANY & EVERYTHING SAID TO YOU! Several snakes in the grass hidden under management titles! When you decide to stand up for yourself that’s when you will be thrown to the wayside! DO NOT PUT YOUR ALL INTO YOUR JOB! There are better jobs where you will be appreciated & valued and paid your worth !

Pros

This company uses science-based approaches for improving health. Their goal and method of improving patient health is admirable. Employees can feel like they're genuinely making a difference in the world. The workplace is friendly, transparent, and supportive. Work is remote, which is a huge plus. The environment is flexible, and people don't micromanage how you spend your time provided KPIs are met and nothing is falling through the cracks. Some overtime is allowed each pay period, which is helpful. Direct supervisors are responsive and attentive.

Cons

A lot of things, like raises, are promised and then never delivered, which is frustrating. Benefits are severely lacking, and pay does not cover the current cost of living. As with many, many companies right now, Nox holds meetings boasting its profits and pays the people actually interacting with patients on a daily basis very little. They do things like offer a 4-40 workweek or increase lunch breaks from 50 minutes to an hour, but these aren't really the benefits employees were hoping would be improved. Holiday pay does not apply for all days the office is closed, meaning if the office is closed on a day that you would normally work, you may have to come in on your day off in order to make up the hours. You also have to come in for additional hours if you are working 10-hour days, as the holiday pay that does exist only covers 8 hours. The line between what constitutes a medical concern to be handled by a medical professional and what has to be handled by a Care Team member without any medical education or experience is blurry at best. Often patients ask medical questions of Care Team members, and there is no good way to ask the medical professionals on staff questions. Procedures are constantly changing and usually not in a good way. There is very little communication between people on the ground floor and any other developmental or directorial departments. This means that not only do the people building the software have no real way of knowing what's needed and what isn't according to the people who will actually be using it every day, but the executives don't seem to even know what it is that all the different patient-facing departments do. I have been given the distinct impression that higher management does not see value in my team or any other patient-facing team. Employees are expected to come in on off days and work outside work hours when necessary. While once employees were given more freedom to make decisions based on their best judgment, this is becoming a thing of the past. Supervisors must be contacted to do anything. If you work remotely and don't live locally to the central office, it is unlikely that you will ever see any advancement in the company.
