Pros
1. Everbody mutually respects one another irrespective of their age or experience. 2. Everyone takes pride and ownership of their work. 3. People are willing to guide and help each other. 4. People are open to ideas irrespective of who comes up with it. 5. You can learn a lot of different things especially if you are a fresher. This is a great place to kickstart your career. 6. The organizational hierarchy is petty flat and you can easily approach anyone without any hesitation. 7. Working here comes with its own set of perks such as i) Flexible work timings ( you can come in at any time and it won’t be an issue unless someone has a dependency on you being there. People here understand this and leverage this instead of misusing it ). ii) Food and Beverages are 50% subsidized. iii) Sports activities are actively encouraged. iv) Annual company-wide outings and quarterly team lunches will be there. v) PMs are friendly and leaves are mostly approved without any hassle. vi) Work-from-Home (WFH) is available for seniors. vii) Cab service is provided to nearby localities. 8. CEO is one of the most humble people I’ve ever encountered in my life and this quality of his almost symbolizes the whole organization.
Cons
1. If you don’t know either Tamil or Telugu, you will find it a bit difficult to get along with people here. 2. Flexible work timings is a double-edged sword. No one will force you to come early nor will they force you to leave early, thus if you are work savvy, you will find yourself burning the midnight oil a bit too often, but still no one will ask you stay late at night it is your choice. 3. If you are a kid fresh out of college, dreaming of huge salary packages get ready to be disappointed. The Salary package for freshers is actually on par with the Industry standards for a small-sized service sector company. 4. For freshers, there might be a service agreement for 2 or 3 years. But don’t worry that won’t be a problem, once you join, you wouldn’t want to leave even if they ask you to. The people are so warm and friendly and the environment is so mutually benefitting that you would want to stay here as long as possible. 5. NP Compete deviates from other companies in some aspects one such thing is that you won’t be present during your own performance review. It is up to you to decide if it is a pro or a con.
