Pros

Work-life balance Bonus, Retirement benefits,

Cons

In my experience, the marketing team lacked long-term planning and clear strategic direction. Many initiatives felt reactive rather than guided by a consistent vision. The work environment felt toxic, and I observed behavior that made it difficult for women to feel respected and supported. Concerns did not seem to be addressed effectively. Decisions were often made without strong supporting data or clear performance insights, which led to frequent shifts in priorities and unfinished projects. The actual day-to-day responsibilities did not align well with the expectations of a marketing role. A significant amount of time was spent creating basic print materials with limited strategic value. There was little to no flexibility for remote work, and the culture placed a heavy emphasis on physical presence and appearance over productivity. New products and growth initiatives often seemed to move forward without sufficient research, market validation, or clear business rationale. Overall, this was not an environment where I felt strategic marketing, professional respect, or thoughtful leadership were valued.

Cons

The company operates on a shoestring, and its systems often amount to nothing more than Excel spreadsheets. It is frighteningly backwards in technology
