It's downtown, but in a bad neighbourhood.

Cons

Automation. Employees are being replaced by AI and its not working out. A total disaster.

Pros

I had the privilege of working with one of the most talented and inspiring design teams in Montreal. It was a group defined not just by its creative firepower, but by its collaborative spirit, sharp instincts, and relentless pursuit of meaningful, user-centered work. Every project felt like a shared mission. Ideas flowed freely, egos were checked at the door, and the work spoke for itself. There was a rare balance of craftsmanship, curiosity, and camaraderie that made it an absolute joy to be part of. Montreal was lucky to have a team like that, and so was I.

Cons

What was once a vibrant and collaborative design culture in Montreal gradually lost its spark after the Toronto design team took over. Unfortunately, leadership in Toronto prioritized their own circle, often at the expense of the incredible talent and momentum that had been built in Montreal. Instead of bridging the strengths of both teams, the opportunity to create a unified, cross-city experience team was overlooked. The result was a fractured culture that lost the creative energy and trust that once made the work so special.
