Pros

Nothing comes to mind that I would say outweighs the negatives.

Cons

Having worked at Nutrafol, I feel it's essential to provide insights into the company culture for potential employees. While the company's mission to promote wellness through innovative products is commendable, there are significant challenges that need addressing. One glaring issue is the dysfunction within the organization. There's a noticeable lack of direction and cohesion, leading to high turnover rates and employee dissatisfaction. The executive management team appears disjointed, resulting in conflicting priorities and a sense of disarray. The culture within Nutrafol fosters an environment of backstabbing and gossip, which undermines trust and collaboration among colleagues. Offsite meetings often devolve into excessive drinking sessions at the evening portion of the meeting, lacking meaningful outcomes for the company. A concerning observation is the casual sharing of employee information by the HR department. There are reports of HR freely gossiping about employees and sharing personal information, including vaccine status. This breaches confidentiality and raises serious concerns about privacy and professionalism within the organization. They collaborate with IT to snoop on employees behind the scenes with zero cause but just to be snooping. TURN OVER IS HIGH. Read the reviews carefully. There is a pattern to good reviews which are requested by HR to artificially change the narrative. In conclusion, while Nutrafol has potential, significant changes are necessary to address dysfunction, improve morale, and foster a culture of professionalism and accountability. It’s a shame that Unilever has not caught on yet.

TOXIC. A step backwards in my career.

Pros

Free lunches once a week.

Cons

HORRIFIC LEADERSHIP The CEO is the classic story of a founder who is unable to transition from a good story teller/salesman to a high growth company leader. He hires “yes men and women” into his C-suite only to play favorites to the ones that do his bidding and pushes out others who actually know what they are doing. The other two founders throw wrenches in any project they can get involved in to pretend like they have a say. HYPOCRITICAL VALUES A wellness company that doesn’t value its employees' wellness. It was the most unhealthy and toxic environment I’ve ever seen. The company proclaims that they value “physiological safety” when they will fire a 15-person creative team in one sitting. They also used the pandemic as an excuse to cut down teams while they experienced growth. No empathy or care was shown either during BLM. UNORGANIZED CHAOS The company changes directions and priorities on a weekly basis. The CEO micromanages every creative that goes out and doesn’t bother to listen to data. He pushes teams at the end of every month, to make their numbers focusing on the short term bottom line rather than long term strategy. DON’T DO IT HR and the CEO have their sales pitch down when it comes to recruiting. You see the potential and want to make your mark on the brand. Save yourself and DO NOT JOIN. I regret wasting so much time here and taking a step backwards in my career because of it. It’s known industry-wide that this is a bad place to be. You won’t get any points for passing through. Trust me.

Pros

You get a steady paycheck every 2 weeks. That's a perk, right?

Cons

Wow, where do I even start? Nutrafol is abysmal. This has been the most frustrating job I've ever had, and that's unfortunate. But so is Nutrafol as a company, just unfortunate. Practically every team is overworked and stressed out, which is quite ironic for a brand that touts wellness. Leadership here is God awful. There's so much micromanagement and mismanagement that goes on, and it makes completing day to day tasks extremely tedious. The creative is boring and drab, there's nothing eye catching. The work here used to be so inspiring, but that stopped long ago. We get wellness breaks to zen out, but I'm sure most of us work right through them. Culture doesn't exist here. If you're looking for culture, then this isn't the place for you. There are no performance reviews nor are there raises. The company is growing, but there's little to no investment in our growth. The CEO is just awful. During election week, he didn't reach out to ask us how we were doing mentally and emotionally. Honestly, he doesn't care about our wellbeing, just the performance of the company. He puts on this air of fakeness to pretend he cares about us, but we all know it's just for show. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Just avoid it like I should've.
