Pros

The position is fully remote.

Cons

Nutrisense no longer values their employees or the members they serve. This once very promising startup is being driven into the ground by greedy, arrogant and careless leadership. Company culture has shifted significantly and there is a very strong feeling of dissatisfaction among employees. This used to be a fun place to work where amazingly talented people could collaborate and create great ideas but now employees are working 10+ hour days for embarrassingly low pay. Additionally, Nutrisense has been engaging in unethical and potentially illegal practices regarding what they publish in their blog. They are absolutely falsifying authors on their website! Nutrition professionals- do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. You deserve much better!

Pros

-Fully remote -There is a lot you learn working in this position. I felt like I grew as a professional -since the service is a higher price point, I felt that many of my members were highly motivated and that made the job more fun

Cons

It’s a very stressful job. You’re expected to work 10+ hour days often. When they hire you, they’ll say “you get your full 8 hours of work in” and they mean it. You’re usually packed with so much work to do that there are many days where it doesn’t feel possible to take a break. Many employees have shared concerns about these issues but it’s usually put back on the employee for not having a “growth mindset” When nearly the entire health team is voicing concerns about excessive stress and burnout, it’s time to really consider why that is. The pay is not enough given how much stress you’re under in this job.
