Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Nuvitek was the worst company that I ever worked for; it had a very stressful environment. It took me a while to really come to terms with how bad my experience here actually was. The treatment they put me through caused me to have severe anxiety and depression, which also resulted in a delay in reviewing the company. To this day, I still deal with the pain and trauma their words and actions have brought to me. Management & executives are the most toxic individuals. When I was hired, I was promised many things - a safe work environment, inclusion, training & open communication. Instead, I was met with micromanagement, passive-aggressive communication, and discrimination. To future *potential* or even current employees, I beg you to please speak up for yourself against these bullies, or don’t even apply.

Pros

Company pays for healthcare and 401K match up to 5%

Cons

This company is deeply dysfunctional, marked by disorganization, weak leadership, and a culture of exclusion. The reality is a chaotic environment driven by fear, mismanagement, and performative values. Communication is poor across all levels, vague at best, and completely absent when it matters most. During layoffs, employees are let go with no warning, no severance, and no explanation, creating a culture of fear and confusion. Feedback from staff is routinely ignored, even when it comes from contributors trying to make things better. Transparency simply doesn't exist here, especially when the company is facing tough decisions. Career advancement is another illusion. Promises around growth, development, and internal mobility are made to keep people hopeful but are rarely honored. If you're not billable or part of the inner circle, your value drops quickly, regardless of your contributions. This company talks a big game about culture, collaboration, and values, but when it actually matters, none of it holds up. Loyalty, hard work, and professionalism go unrecognized in favor of optics and short-term wins. If you're looking for transparency, stability, respect, or a place to grow professionally, then look elsewhere. The warning signs are real, and they shouldn’t be ignored.

Pros

Free healthcare. Friendly/tries to be.

Cons

They will not allow access to proposal documents—for even the proposal manager. It’s weirdly unprofessional. They use Google suite instead of Microsoft even though they pay for Microsoft. They use multiple different venues for what should just be an email. My manager asked me to change my time are reflecting that I had worked overtime (96 hours within an 88 hour time period), even though I am an employee exempt of overtime. How am I supposed to prove all of my going above and beyond if not for extra hours on timesheets? I did it without question because this C-suite executive is such an aggressor. They also will not let you review previous writing as a proposal person, this made it nearly impossible to get a grasp of their story and win themes. The paranoia and immaturity is wild.
