Pros

There were lots of positives to working at this company. The people I worked shoulder to shoulder with being the biggest one. The program managers were smart and hard working, the work was challenging and always changing.

Cons

The biggest issue I have with this company is the upper management. They have had very unrealistic expectations for employees. They have expected employees to cancel their vacations to complete projects. Once we received a mass email telling everyone they needed to work through memorial day weekend to make a deadline. I have seen good employees get canned because the leadership perceived them as expendable. Perhaps this mentality has changed as the company grows, it needs to.

Pros

The former President/CEO was able to excite and energize the company. He created a warm, open, family oriented environment. When I first started, the company had direction. I was excited for the potential that Nuvotronics had.

Cons

The current leadership and management teams should run for office because they are constantly playing politics. I am disappointed in their lack of transparency and accountability. The organization is too top heavy. Decisions are being made without a second thought in regards to employees who have been with the company for 20+ years. It is disheartening. Leadership seems to have forgotten who makes this company successful.

Thank you for your feedback. During such an unexpected and transformative event for the company, it is important to the Leadership Team to hear from our employees and take necessary steps to address concerns and communicate a path forward. In the last few months since the transition, we have taken steps to increase transparency and communication with employees with more townhalls, Q&A sessions, key customer visits/presentations, board 1:1s, and interim corporate newsletters that include information from across/up and down the organization and corporate status updates on an on-going basis. We understand that not everyone will agree with the decisions that were made by the Board of Directors and each individual will process these events at their own pace, but we continue to solicit employee feedback and ideas to engage in 2-way dialogue to maintain and encourage a culture of feedback and open communication. Thus far, we continue to be inspired by the resilience and resolve of our employees. We encourage you to voice your concerns and suggestions with the Leadership Team or Board of Directors as they continue to ask for feedback; we have gotten great input to date. Change is not easy, but it is necessary for progress and evolution. Our ability to embrace it is important for our continued growth as an organization. Our culture is as unique as our technology and a byproduct of our Founder who remains an important part of our history and future. Our mission, vision and values remain intact and continue to guide us as we look forward together.
