Pros

Decent pay levels, career progression opportunities for some

Cons

Poor leadership with many managers only thinking about themselves without any feel for their plants and operators. Poor employee relationships. Management taking irrational decisions, making people redundant in poor manner with lack of communication. Plant wearn out without investments and poor environmental performance. Consultants come and go frequently making plenty of money out of the ignorant. No career planning. Values are a farce.

Pros

Reasonable salary but fading fast

Cons

Workers on the ground enjoy less privileges , poor training (apart from compliance related training) less advantages such as leasing of vehicles and other perks, poor career path and advancement prospects and are now paying for past poor (criminal even? )decisions made by European upper management in the past who have ruined what was a good company with great prospects. Stated ethics and values only count when in management's favour.

Pros

Was reasonable money but starting to be quite uncompetitive. Shift workers lose out as salary isnt proportional compared to day workers or other comparable businesses at around 20% less. Exposure to interesting and varied work and lots of overtime (due to being severely understaffed).

Cons

Toxic culture from management, one way communication with only token consultation with employees occuring despite being told we were one team. Pressure jobs will see you followed around and stood over by managers to get the job done "faster". I guess that might work in South Africa but not in Australia lol. Try again. Employees in my old section leaving in droves , over 30%(and good people)left just in the last year. No training unless they have to (compliance training for legal reasons) Saddened and pretty disgusted at how a great site has been run down and employee trust and loyalty thrown away.
